In-Person Worship Update

March 22, 2021

Dear Members of Faith,

Good News!! – We are moving forward with plans for resuming in-person worship.  Plans are as follows:

Palm Sunday (March 28): This pre-recorded service will be broadcast online – in the same manner as we have been.  At least 10 hours has already been put in preparing for this special service, therefore we are proceeding as planned.

Holy Week: – We begin with livestreaming from the sanctuary for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services.  These services will be broadcast online only.

EASTER (April 4):

  • An 8:00 a.m. outdoor, in-person worship gathering is being planned outside the church, rain or shine. Bring a chair, wear a mask, and join us!
  • 9:30 a.m. worship will be livestreamed from the sanctuary and broadcast online only.

April 11:  9:30 a.m. Indoor, in-person worship resumes.  Social distancing between households and masks, in addition to some other safety measures will be observed.  But we will be able to SING (while masked)!  Services will also continue to be livestreamed and broadcast online for those unable to attend in person.

Information for joining online services will be sent in advance.

For those planning to continue attending worship online:

Up until now, online worship services have been pre-recorded, allowing the words and music to be added and displayed.  Once livestreaming begins, those joining online will see the service as it unfolds, as if sitting in a pew.

In order to follow along with hymns, red hymnals are available for those who would like one.  Hymnals can be picked up at the church office during business hours, OR you can request that one be delivered to you.

Let’s celebrate with thanks and praise to our risen Lord and Savior as we continue to worship him in various ways.
